Walker H. Stern

I am a postdoc in the research group of Claudia Scheimbauer at the Technical University of Munich and an associated member of the SFB 1085 Higher invariants, funded by the DFG. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Bilkent University, an RTG post-doctoral research associate and lecturer in mathematics at the University of Virginia, and a post-doc at Universität Hamburg. I received my doctorate in mathematics from Universität Bonn in 2019, advised by Tobias Dyckerhoff.

My work deals with \((\infty,1)\)-categories, \((\infty,2)\)-categories, mathematical physics, operads, homotopy theory, and topology. For more details, see my research and publications pages.
